Looking for a Chip

I would like to finally update my programmer. I have had a Hypertech for a long time and I figure it's about time to get something newer with better tunes. If anyone has a TS or a DP Tuner for a reasonable price please message me. It has to fit a 02 F250 7.3L Manual Trans. Thanks

There are benefits to buying the DP direct from them, rather than a used unit, especially since the PCM code matters. And if you want to upgrade later.

I have one of their chips and ill recommend them to anybody, their customer service is top notch. There is a member on this forum that works for them, Justin, I'm sure he'll see this thread and give you some better answers.

We can always price compare to buying new vs. buying used and getting it reburned. Because there were so many different PCM families from early 99 - 2003 you might not get the exact fit with an used chip. A reburn might be necessary. It will add to what you buy the used chip for if you need a reburn. Best thing it to do is ask the original owner of the chip what PCM was used on the Chip.

You can contact Justin@dp-tuner.com if you have any more questions.

Most of the time, if the used chip was not burned for the same PCM family as yours, it will end up costing you about the same to buy a new chip as it would to buy a used one and set it up for your truck. If you can find one used that matches your PCM family, you may be able to save a little.

Feel free to shoot me a PM or e-mail if you have any questions I can help you out with. I would be happy to go over some options with you.

Sounds good. With any tuning questions or issues, you may want to just contact Jody instead. He does all of the tuning. His e-mail is jody@dp-tuner.com

He is extremely busy, but will get back to you as soon as he can.
