Need your help

I am about to start working on my 02 Excursion. I will be installing, 6.0L intercooler, 6.0L trans cooler, triple gauge set pyro trans temp boost, ts with wildman tunes. I want to clean the motor when I do all of this. So what is the best way to clean the motor with out geting water in it.

Brake Parts Cleaner/Carb Cleaner...
