what camshaft to use

I'm rebuilding my 99 7.3. Ford overhaul kit ,rebuilt heads, head studs, T500 HPOP, garret ball bearing turbo, ebv delete, stage 1 or 2 injecters (didn't decide yet),PHP chip. When I took it apart I found the can was bad should I put a stock camshaft in (fords list cost is $630) or put a gear head performance stage 1 camshaft in for $525 plus new pushrods and valve springs. I use the truck mostly for towing 10000 to 12000 lb. Any other modifications that I should do while the truck is apart? Thanks for any input

Late 1999 f350 4x4 drw crew cab auto trans, DI 4 position chip, AFE II air filter, ftvb, 4"down pipe into 2 5" stacks, ww, ccv mode, autometer gauges , 135,000 miles. Late 1999 f250 ext cab.4x4 auto FF stage 1 injectors non EBPV pedestal, GTP 38R turbo, hydra with powerstruck tunes, gauges. 213000 miles.

I'd use the stock cam, put Stage I's in it, a new Mellings LPOP, and a Fluidampr

I want a cam from Matt in my truck, but if my truck was stock I would run that. Seems to be more of an upside to a cam when you are pushing more power.

Sold 2001 f250 ccsb 4x4 400/400, dual terminators, swamps 80mm bfh, headers, bts and all the usual supporting mods. 715hp fuel only.
