i am also torn between dp and tony. anyone have an help on deciding. i believe they might mean highpressure oil pump..

ive heard of people running out of oil or fuel preasure with the dp tuner. I think tony usualy keeps his tuning to work with your stock oil and fuel preasures... all that extra tuning dont do any good if your hpop cant keep up with it.

It all depends on how YOUR truck acts with the tune you are running. You may not have any issues with a 120HP tune, then switch to a 140 Extreme and have issues. As a general rule, more oil is always better. Do a search for HPOP and read some of the posts to get a better understanding.

i think the choice is easy hands down tony cuz when u upgrade u can send the chip back for free to reburn it thats always a plus...

i think what nicks is saying is that with the TW chip if you ever do go with big oil bigger turbo ect. he will reburn it for free were as with the DP you will have to pay for the reburns.... my choice would be TW

thats why tony doesnt advertise power numbers. do you want performance that works? or do you want power promises that your factory componants cant suport?

this is the reason Tony doesnt post up HP numbers... whats the point of saying its a 140hp tune if your truck wont see it unless you have bigger oil, sticks, turbo, ect. with him he will make you an Extreme file that will be the highest HP he can get for your application....
