38R waste gate adjustment???

Searched extensively, but could not find the answer I was looking for. I was contemplating Dieselsite's waste gate controller, and asked Jody from DP if it was advantageous. He replied that I can just adjust the waste gate on the 38R.

Anyone on the org know exactly how I adjust the waste gate on my Garrett 38R? Thanks!

Just twist the rod going from the turbo outlet housing to the wastegate itself. You can also disconnect the red line, but you will want to keep an eye on your boost gauge to make sure you aren't overboosting.

Thanks for the info. I'll be home in about a month, and I'll give it a try and let you know.
