E99 turbo upgrades

what would be the best turbo for an E99? ive got stock sticks but plan on upping them in the future. goal is around 450hp. was looking into a 38r, but i just found out that its not a direct fit, and its maybe alittle small for my goals. are there any direct fit turbo upgrades for the E99?

E99 F250 SD 7.3 ECLB 5in exhaust, intake, built trans, WW2, T500 HPOP, mechanical wastegate and a custom tune. more to come

D66 is a bolt on turbo. it is a hybrid mix of the factory turbo and 38r. with the new wicked wheel it is claimed to be able to support mid to upper 500 hp mark.

rumor is the D66's are going to start coming with the new WW off the shelf.

Yes. Check out Dieselsite.com and look at the dynosheets with the 38R and the new WW with it installed. The dyno run showed 643hp with 250/200 sticks.

yes, the 38r is more efficient than the wet flow D66 cartridge. if you knock lets say 100hp off the number that the 38r put down. thats still a big number for a $1400 drop in turbo as opposed to spending $2500+ on a T4 mount.

been searching but cant find the article i was looking for.

so, would it make more sence to get a d66 now with stock sticks or get stage 2s and save for a turbo? doubt ill have the money for both after HPOP, airdog, and reg return.
