Fuel pump
I have a 2000 f250 7.3 diesel and i heard that it is better to get more fuel pressure with a different fuel pump, do they go through more fuel or not. Also on a stock fuel pump how do you turn it up to get more fuel.

you have a high pressure oil pump that drives your injectors...
you get a chip for more fuel. |

|
You can also do the FPR Shim for more fuel pressure
|

|
you can shim your fuel pressure regulator, there is a write up for it in the forums, which will boost your fuel pressure a little bit.
as far as "turning things up manually," thats it. |

I uploades some pics of the superduty fuel bowl and the BB going into the FPR.
FPR Mod pictures from friends & fun photos on webshots This is where the BB goes in the fuel pressure regulator(FPR) |

how do you turn up your fuel pump

you cant turn up the fuel pump. Just the pressure going into the injectors.

|
you don't turn it up, you shim the FPR.
