super duty ram air kit

the above pic was a cold air kit that i installed on a customers 2001 mustang gt a few years back. It seemed to help out quite a bit on fuel economy and maybe power. Mounted under the bumper cover and worked great til he lowered the car and then it was a problem so off it came. My idea is similar to this just a bigger scoop and use sheet metal and 4 inch flex pipe. Adapt it to my air box and see what happens! Any suggestions/thoughts? Has it already been done? Thanks!

I doubt if it would do more than a zoodad mod, but heck, if you have it sitting there anyways you may as well use it.

Lots of money spent at RiffRaff
Holley fuel pump, in tank mods, crappy riding leveling kit, DP-F6, 5 Gauges+Edge CS in dash, CB radio in Dash, over 100 goofy little mods
Still pretty slow, just less slow now.

Banks made a similar setup. I honestly don't think you would notice a difference.
