Quadzilla & overhead mileage gauge
First off: 2001 Crewcab, 4x4, Lariat, 7.3, stock height and tire size, Tymar, no Cat, Walker BTM, Quadzilla Zillaraider.
Questions 1: When I run the Quadzilla in the 2nd position(80/180), my overhead mileage readout says I'm getting 22.5mpg doing 65mph on flat highways. With the module in the off position, it will drop to 16-17. Is my truck getting that good of mileage, or does the module screw up the displayed values. I know the definate answer is to work it out on paper. Question 2: It's it ok to leave it in the 2nd position as a daily driver? The engine knocks a lot louder, but has a great throttle reponse. I don't plan on any hot rodding. |

yes the overhead will be wrong when running any type of custom tuning.
It's perfectly fine to run the QZ on level 2 or 3 if you want as long as you are empty. Towing you should back down to the first level without gauges, or if you have gauges let it hang out. |
