wildman tunes?

i see this all over the place. I understand your want you chip specially tuned for injectors and such.

My ? is: Are his tunes better than my 140hp 6-position chip with stock injectors? I couldn't find what his HP settings are, anyone? are his #'s flywheel or rearwheel?

I dont think he gives HP numbers just because all trucks are different, but from what ive read there will be a night and day difference between your TS and the Wildman tunes, Someone else will be along that can help ya out a little better than I.

Also I believe he will reprogram a TS chip so you don't have to buy a new chip. You might be able to send it in for just one of his tunes and still keep the ts tunes also. Not sure but its worth a call to find out.

yea i think Raul at stealth on here deals with putting wildman tunes on ts chips, 150 or 175 beans i think, He'll be on here to let ya know

their is a diff from generic tunes that are meant to satisfy all owners and custom tuned chips from TW... no HP numbers are give because each tune is truck specific... think of it this way.. that 140hp setting on your TS your not really getting 140HP... your truck can only do soo much on stock format before the tune is too much for stock components to handle.(not that your gonna break anything but your HPOP wont keep ect.).. and HP ratings from manufacturers are usually never to the wheels... to the wheels on a TW chip your looking in the 315+hp and 620torque to the wheels.... let me know if you have any questions

I haven't tried a TS chip, but I did run SCT cookie-cutter tunes for a few years. The difference was very noticable when I went with Wildman's chip. I ran the chip befor I upgraded injectors. My truck ran smoother with his tunes.

i'm aware that some HP is usually advertised at the crank, however the TS chip is advertised as 140+ rwhp. My truck dynoed at 292/648 without methanol and without a map fooler. I was not in the truck so i don't know if the CEL was triggered.

315hp/620tq...were you just ball-parking numbers, cause torque seems kind of low.

i guess i need to talk straight to tony.

what has anyone dynoed with just the intake, exhaust, stock HPOP, stock injectors and the TW chip.

Getting ready to order my wildman chip. I need to know the diff. between economy, & daily. Anyone have these tunes on there chips?

just give tony a call awesome guy to deal with and as far as is there a difference well thre i sno comparison, the chip I just got from him I have to send back to get some more work done to it for my specific truck but even with it not exactly right it was night and day difference, with my ts on 140 I could spin the tires if I gassed it from a dead stop but with mr wildmans tunes, i gas it at a stand still and it will spin until it hits overdrive lol and that is in the street tune, dont know what it will do in the race tune You cant go wrong with TW
