DP Lope Idle ????

So I ordered the lope idle tune from Jody for my 03 7.3. It don't lope. It idles just like stock. Jody says he's working on it and will send me another chip. Any one else have this problem?

I have the lope with smoke (white)... Its a little disappointing (and I have not said anything to Jody because it really is not a performance issue) it will only smoke when I romp on it, and doesn't really lope at all. It one of those tunes that is just for fun so with 8 to chose from this is the least of my worries.

I have a DP F-5 with lope idle, mine did not lope either. In fact when I tried it my truck was not warmed up and I smoked out the whole gas station. I sent my chip back and he reflashed it for me, now it works fine. My truck is an 03 7.3 and Jody said he just live tuned a 03 7.3 and got the lope idle down so he burnt that tune on my chip and it works. The only thing is that its hard to get a perfect lope unless ur tuck is live tuned. My buddy had a duramax that was live tuned with a lope and it sounded great. I wish the lope was drawn out a little more. Remember the lope idle does not work correctly unless the truck is up to operating temps.

Oh and you paid for that tune, send it back. I sent my chip out on monday and ogt it back on saturday.

You can wire up the IPR with a switch and a pot and have lope with any tune and as radical as you like it.

I got the lope tune on my early99/PMT1 combo and it sounds decent. Better in gear than park. But its nothing compared to my stage 2 singles with the lope tune. It sounded down right nasty and always got attention

As a newb I'm as confused as a baby in a topless bar. When you say 'lope' @ idle are you saying you want your diesel to lope like a idling Harley and if so why?

I had the lope tune from TW, basically the same tune from Jody. It shook the truck like crazy
