Stage 2's are in!

Well it's official, I finally did my injectors! I got a kit from Jim Rose @ Rosewood Diesel a.k.a diy-injectors.com they are 160cc stage 2 single shots. The injector build went awesome, after taking the first few injectors apart and slowly putting them back together constantly referring to my instructions I quickly got the hang of it and soon didn't need any directions. Once all 8 injectors were built I installed them back into the truck and fired it up. Because the truck is programmed to run on split-shot injectors, the idle is very rough and the truck shakes pretty good. Hopefully I'll have my chip back from Tony Wildman the first of this week which will be properly programmed for the single shot's and my turbo. As of right now with the stock split shot PCM running the injectors, the power gain is HUGE. I can't believe how quick that speedometer moves when I give it some pedal, 35-90 mph is very quick, much quicker than my truck ever was with the TS chip on there with proper programming, it's going to be scary when I get that chip back from Tony. It's safe to say that I'm VERY pleased and impressed both with the DIY kit and how the entire job went and its outcome. 2 thumbs up for diy-injectors.com

Also a HUGE thanks to PJ (pojo4223) he was my right hand man the whole injector job and I couldnt have done it without him. He watched every move I made and helped with every step of the entire injector build job. Thanks very much PJ, your the man!

Also, how long did it take to do each injector?

yes, modded my stock split shot's AB's into stage 2 single shot's.

nah, I dont think big oil is in my near future maybe a 17* HPOP some time but I'll see how she runs with the stock HPOP for now.

some one turned me on to rosewood's website yesterday. those prices are a lot more affordable. just a few questions.

1. do i have to start with the stage 1c injectors?

2. how much horse is that?

3. if 1 is no, then can i install a stage 2b kit, or does it have to be stage 2c on stock injectors.

4. how much horse is stage 2c, stage 2b is 50hp

5. how much does tony charge for a chip burn?
