AFE Stage II "sucking" sound

Is this common? I get this "sucking" sound coming from my air filter and it makes me think it is starving for air.

Any experience or thoughts from some of you that have the same intake?

AFE Stage II "sucking" sound

Mine had the same type of sound web I had my stock turbo. With the 38r I don't hear anything other than whistle for the most part. So I'd say its normal. I thought it was a little strange at first but everything seemed to run normally so I didn't question it. Since you seem to hear the same thing I'd say roll with it. Maybe some other guys running it will chime in though! 👍

Like stated above, it is normal to hear the sucking sound with an open element intake. Is your filter-minder still intact? If so, check to see if it is sucking in. That will help tell if you are starving for air.
