valve body/much difference???

well after my dillema last night with the stud breaking putting in my valve body im up and running. only thing is how much of a difference should there be? im not really noticing much, maybe its cuz i have jodys new trans tuning, or i was thinking my buddy that was helping me handed me the wrong VB when i was under the truck It does seem to shift a little quicker in the stock mode but i dont know, that could be from the new fluid, maybe

the reason he could have gotton them mixed up is cuz both of the vb's were left out because of the dillemma out last night

Did you tell him your mods so he could set it up how you wanted it to shift? Also you will want to let jody retune if you have added the valve body.

i bought it from itp diesel, i talked to john and he said to by it from him. also jody said my tunes would work with john vb. Im thinkin my buddy got the vb's mixed up or something. im gonna send one back and i asked dennis to take a look at it to see if in fact they got mixed up. will he be able to tell the difference if he looks at the springs in it?

i just talked to john i put the correct one in. those 4 button looking things on the side (i dont know the correct word) anyways johns are 3 aluminum and one steel and the factory ones are all aluminum, the one i have out they are all aluminum, i even put a magent to them and it didnt stick to any of them, thank god!!

Good deal. The valvebody will help prolong your tranny with less heat buildup by supplying more pressure to the cluches mechanically vs a tuner.
