Do you guys think a section of flex exhaust 4" would be fine for this mod you can really put the filter were you want it what do you think thanks

The rubber intake hose will allow you to position it.

Check with autozone I heard someone got a piece of 4" x 6" piece of aluminized exhaust pipe from there...

otherwise go to a big rig repair shop..

Got mine at the local exhaust shop. you only need a a couple inches. I first tried autozone and a few other auto parts stores and they only had 2.5 inch and i think autozone had a couple 3 inch parts. the muffler shop hooked me up with the pipe for free.

this is a great mod and its nice and cheap too!

Ok this is the scoop great mod put it on turbo does spool faster or its the 101 talking anyway couldnt find anybody around this backwaRD AS### place that had 4" exhaust. So i tryed 4" pvc would not fit 4" inside 41/4"out so i went to the plumbing contractor and got a 3" 45 degree heavy wall works perfect outside is 4" snug as a rug . But im worried im loseing air with the 3" fitting even so it does go back to 3" at the turbo any thoughts. Or am i over thinking this and need to some more Thanks.

Hey Powerplant anyone ever tell you that you worry to much.

I don't think you are losing that much air flow. If anything you maybe creating a small vaccuum because of going small to big back to small. So that may pull more air into the turbo.

Sorry to here that keep trying there is alot out there. I always said if they shut the powerhouse down and put me in corrections id move on it has to be a pain in the a****.

I am just going to wait till the garage foreman retires in a year or so. I was BQ number 1 for it the last time. But due to politics, and the cutbacks they were doing. Another guy that was about 5 years to retirement got the job.
