Hydra Chip

Has anyone had this chip or have any idea on how it runs? Looking at chips if anyone can help I appreciate it.

I don't have it, but a lot of people do and really like it. It's one of the good ones for sure.

I got it and put it in last week. I love it so far. Just the standard tunes for me. I've never had a chip on any vehicle and am absolutely shocked at the 7.3 beast when I put it on the 100hp performance tune. I just mostly use it on the daily driver setting, though.

My tunes are not your normal tunes so you cant go by me, but it is really nice to have the option to get tunes reburnt and sent to your pc. I would highly recommend one.

I just got the Hydra. Mainly because ill be upgrading things over time and I like that I can have the tunes emailed to me instead of having to send the chip in

I've had one for a while. I was a beta tester for Bill & Cory. The thing is awesome! I have it on my mostly stock late '99 work truck and OMG! The 140 HP Extreme will cause the tires to break loose going thru the gears.

With the hydra, are the custom tunes still extra money or is that included in the price?

Every custom tune is 25 a piece

That's still not a bad deal. So the 17 tunes you originally get are PHP custom/canned tunes. If you change your setup down the road $25 and you have a tune for it. Does it work the same way with the phoenix chip?
