You want to buy a blow off valve? Do you want your truck to have the blow off sound like a neon srt-4 or something? Man....that's cool the first 3 times, after that it gets annoying really quick! I'm not sure, but maybe give your local diesel shop a call and tell them what you want, and they'll tell you what they have or can do!

if you want one that is lound you can obviously get one of the specially designed "loud" ones. i fyou want the function more then you can look for a turbocharged Volvo in the junk yard for example a 740 GL they have a black plastic one that is designed to re-route boost preasure back to the intake pipe in front of the turbo. this system is intended for MAF type injection systems since it is closed loop, the MAF will read when the air slows down between shifts unlike regular blow off valves which dump boosted air into the atomosphere.

Hey... If you're looking for that explosive blow off that imports get, you wont really hear that with a Powerstroke. Boosted gas engines blow off loud when the throttle plate closes rapidly, causing a surge of boost pressure to dump out of the BOV. With the exception of the early build 6.0L which has an EGR throttle plate, Powerstrokes don't have throttle plates. I've heard 6.0L's that sound like they have a BOV, they get a POP POP POP type of noise on rapid deceleration. This is what we call VGT fart at my shop. It's "normal" according to Ford Tech Assist, but I'd say 80% of the 6.0L's that I work on don't make this noise. If your turbo does this, it's pretty easy to get a new turbo under warranty. Just remember to remove the chips and hide the controllers!

Worm, that is hands down one of the funniest websites ever. I can't believe what some kids do with their cars. That kinda makes me want to find a kid in a '86 civic hatchback and punch him in the throat! Thanks for making my day.

I'm gettin in on this ricer thing man. First i'm going to get a cowl hood that's molded in white and put it on unpainted!! Then i'm going to fix all the dents and scratches in my tailgate and leave it primered. Then i'm going to get a cool body kit and leave it white too!! So I can look like a total and complete idiot! What's with these morons that buy these body kits and put them on without painting them and thinking wow.......that looks good!??????
