injector bore???

are AA injectors bore the same as AD injectors? i have a 97 engine and looking to upgrade the injectors to the AD's. will i have a problem with the mod?

Good! Im planing on putting a turbo after that mod. Just went to the races on wensday the truck ran a 17.9 1/4 mile! It ran good but i wanted to know were i was at before any mods were done. Right now i have a stright pipe [pipes tip is before the right rear tire kinda like the lighting but better cuz my brother did most of the welding on it] and the 6637 Napa filter. Im looking foward to the mods. Thanks for the help dudes!

Yep they will fit, but why?

I went from AD to AA's for more tune-ability and converted them to stage 2 for more HP.. If I were you, I would keep my AA's and modify them if you are looking for more power..

Really??? Did you feel the difference? Will i notice the difference if i keep the same turbo. Im planning on getting one later but first i want the injectors. What should i do?Can the OEM HPOP keep up with the oil suppley?

AD's require more oil to run than AA's, but you 97 is a 15* pump so you will be pushing it with stage 2's but it should work fine.

I really noticed a big power improvement going to a stage 2 AA !

You can go to that website and send Jim and email to ask him his input, he is a great guy and does many DIY kits for OBS trucks (I think he has one himself). The prices are awesome if you have the know-how to do it.. I rebuilt mine and wasn't difficult at all..

your HPOP will work better with AA's than AB/AD splits. Contact DIY Injectors.

What about the turbo?? I have a 99.5+ Turbo on it. Will it have enough boost for those injectors.

Yeah you can get 26-28 lbs out of that turbo. A turbo should be one of the things you add to your wish list..
