What Motor!!!!!!!!

Yeah i am new to this and just got my truck. it is a 2001 F-250 diesel and i'm not sure which diesel motor it comes with. i drove a Toyota Prius before this so i haven't a clue. anyways i have a friend at work that told me that it comes with the 6.9 PowerJoke isn't it PowerStroke? not sure what he means by that. so yeah any help would be Great

My wife would beg to differ on that statement..

EDIT: Oh yeah.. by the way, the 6.9 IDI was one of the BEST engines I've EVER had the pleasure of owning. It wasn't powerful by today's standards, but by God it lasted forever and ran circles around that 6.2L that the competition had.
