cs attitude problem

hey all, so i just bought a cs attitude from a buddy and he returned it to stock so it is not vin locked and all that, and he even went through the trouble of being on the phone with edge while he did this to make sure there would be no issues. well, low and behold, theres an issue.

he updated it, cleared the vin lock, we hooked it up to my truck and when we went to test it, it says it is still vin locked to his vehicle and that we need to plug it back in to his truck, and return it to the stock file from there. also, when i plug the unit into my home computer it wants a disk for the software to run on my computer but he never got one when he got it so i cant update it on my computer either now.

its a sunday and so edge is closed and i emailed them with my problem, but im just curious if anyone has ever had this problem before or knows what to do. any and all input is a big help! i apologize if this has been asked before or there are threads out there talking about this but i dont exactly have the time to do the homework.

if it's vin locked it's needs to be resolved first

yeah i emailed edge telling them it was unlocked and returned to stock by the last guy who had it, and he was literally on the phone with them while he did it haha. im just waiting to hear back from them to see what they can help me with

in terms of their software, i have been completely unsuccessful in finding any to download other than the "my styles" type stuff.
