I just installed gauges and TW 6 pos. Took er out for a test drive and noticed the boost gauge quit reading. Checked the T fitting where I spliced into for the gauge and it just popped off. The T fitting that I got with the gauges has a smaller diameter than the hose I spliced into so I wrapped some electrical tape around the fitting to makeup for the gap and put some small hose clamps around it. Anyway, my question is do I even need the line to be connected to the sensor thingy mounted just above the AC compressor? I would like to just run the tube from the Y pipe to the gauge instead of from the T.

air intake heater, pretty much an uneeded thing in the intake tract that blocks air that works as an awesome spot to mount your boost guage!!

AIH
Which one is this...I see three connections there, one being where the map line goes in (if im looking in the right spot) and the one in the middle is a brass fitting.
