programmer, chip, tuner???

I have a 2000 f250 7.3 and I Wang to put a programmer in it I've been looking into the bully dog triple dog gt. Any personal reviews on that or a better programmer that is similar or somewhat close to that?

You would be much better off with a chip from DP, TW, PHP, etc. vs a outdated setup like a Bullydog.

Does any of those chips have a screen and switch on the fly?

all chips are switchable on the fly but they have no screen setup like the bullydog just a nob to turn.
As previously stated a chip will be what you should be looking at if you want the best but if you like the features of the bullydog then it just comes down to how you weigh the features vrs performance

True I love the features the programmer has but that definitely doesn't outweigh the performance... I don't know anything about chips.. if I get a chip is there any way that I can get a screen like a prgrammer to read my boost, exhaust temp elevation throttle etc..?

Yes you can bully dog makes a watchdog WatchDog Multi-function Gauge, edge makes the insight cs http://www.edgeproducts.com/product.php?pk=146&pvk=404 and insight cts http://www.edgeproducts.com/product.php?pk=145&pvk=405 and you can get boost(as the map sensor reads), egt(as long as you buy the probe), not sure what all else it can read.
If you decide that is the way you want to go I can get you some really good pricing.

Check out http://www.gopowerhungry.com/_phoenix.shtm they make a good chip with lots of options for tunes. Yes you can use the watchdog or the insight cs/cts to view anything the programer could.

Sounds good.. thank you. The watchdog kinda looks and almost the same features as the triple dog gt so I was wondering get a chip for performance and get the programmer for the features. Have a programmer and chip. Would that screw up anything?

The watchdog is not a programer it just reads through the obd2 port and if you were to have a programer you cannot stack it so the computer would simply just run off of the chip and bypass any programing that a programer would have flashed into the pcm. Short answer No it will not hurt anything.
