Front End F250 6"lift Tie rod and steering components

Just got a call from the guys installing my lift kit (4wheel parts). They're concerned with the "play" on the fornt end of my 2000 F250.

They said there's some play on the front end of the tie rod and I'm assuming on the track bar and/or drag link (forgot which he said). They quoted me some prices but I first wanted to hear your guys' take on it. I asked them about the pitman arms and they said they're okay.

Should I get a second opinion from my mechanic before replacing those? I want to trust these guys but always hate the proverbial "Hey we found this, this, and that while down there..." They also mentioned that the bushings on my control arms are going out, which for a 14 year old truck, sounds about right.

Thoughts?

I suggest going to shop and have them show you their "concerns."
