Early 99 Injector's and other upgrades

Heres a list of upgrades i'm thinking about doing. my friend is running the same set up and I was wondering if anything is missing or if I need something different.

250/100 injectors
s366 turbo with t4 mount
Irate diesel fuel system with regulated return
srp1.1
Arp head studs
3 inch Plenums (i was told early 99's only had 2 inch?)

I put in a south bend single disk rated for 475hp a couple months ago. Hoping to be a little over 500hp with this set up and i'm hoping to milk this clutch for a while at least.

Any input is appreciated. Thanks http://www.powerstroke.org/forum/ima.../icon_ford.gif

I am subscribing to this thread. I have the same questions as you and looking to do the same thing. How many Hp is your buddy making?

And goodluck on your project! Will be sweet when you get it all done.

3in lift with helper springs, 37in tires, 6637 DIY Intake, SCT 3 tuner looking to get some custom tunes soon, Gauges with edge monitor, 4in turbo back exhaust leading to dual 5in stacks. Next Summer trying to get in head studs and a ZEX dry nitrous kit.

in my E99, im currently running a set of 160/80s and Jakes s366 turbo/kit.
will be upgrading to a set of 238/200s and his fuel kit soon.
My advice, spend the extra $$ on jakes up-pipes with the wastegate added to it if your going ot be runing any injector over a 200cc
i didn't buy it when i ordered mine, and i regret it now because i have to add it myself before larger injectors

I run 250/100's with Jakes Pius LASB s300 framed turbo and his mounting kit. I run a full stricktly diesel fuel system.
Jake will work you a deal on injectors, turbo etc.

I would recommend 250/200's though. Your buddy is probably making just under 500hp with 238/100's. 250/100's will get you around 525-550 with proper supporting mods. 250/200's will get you to 600hp range.

@cloverleaf: why do you have to add a wastegate? I went with the wastegate option and I do not currently need it. i am only hitting 35/36psi. Maybe thats because I have my injectors detuned for my pmrs. I'm trying to get jake to get me a blockoff and new elbow so I can eliminate it for now. Supposedly when I run my injectors to full potential, I should be over 40psi

for 160/100s you'd need an upgraded hpop. a used 17* thats still working properly will be fine.
studs, springs, pushrods aren't "needed" but its added insurance when you push 40+ psi. its cheaper to install them when you do injectors than to replace a head or 2.
at the minimum you'd need a regulated return.
