I have Howard's (strokin_early 99) D66 turbo on my truck now and its pretty awesome. He ran the D66 for a while on his truck and then did an upgrade to a much bigger turbo which put the D66 on the shelf, but now I have it in my truck. It takes longer for it to spool up than the stock turbo, but thats only because its a bigger/heavier turbo. Once it spools up it really goes like hell. Once I get my Stage 2 injectors in the truck with some new tunes, I think I'll have a pretty sweet set up. I would say that the D66 is a great option for you if you plan on doing an upgrade, so far I absolutely love it, and I'm sure I'll love it even more when I got some more fuel and tunes on my truck. The install is super easy, took me about 2.5 hours and that was really taking my time.

well what size injectors do you planning on running? a big heavy BB turbo will want some more fuel to make it spool up better. If you planning on big power then a BB turbo may be a better choice than the D66, but it all depends on what your power goals are.

well i plain on doing bigger injectors down the road along with a new HPOP and a regulated return fuel system

the question is HOW big will you go, if you plan on only doing like stage 2's then a D66 will probably be more than fine, but if your going with some big hybrids or something like B-codes, you'll want that BB unit or something like a modded H2E.
