Restrictive Tymar

I have a 2001 F-250 with tw tunes, a Tymar intake, "5 MBRP exhaust, a 1.15 exhaust housing and a wicked wheel. Lately I've noticed when I get on it it sucks the filter minder in. My question is do I need a better filter or what?

You're having an issue with a Napa 6637 filter? Never heard of that. That IS the better filter. I wouldn't use the filter minder. Personally, I don't think that it's strong enough for what the truck desires.

Yea I don't see how driving without a filter is supposed to figure anything out.

What im saying is all my mods were done pretty close together so I have no comparison to anything other than stock. My egts get to about 1400 (which I think is fine) and the only comparison I have for smoke is without a chip so its hard to say. The fact remains the filter minder will only pull in if the air filter is a restriction so thats where the problem is.
