7.3 upgrade help

Hey guys great site just became a member. I have a 2003 F-250 Crew Cab Lariat 7.3. I am torn as to what to put in it. I only haul a 32' 5th wheel and a couple of sleds.

I have only looked into the banks system with waste gate, exhaust, trans command, and 6 gun.

There is shop near me that has me really thinking about gagues, AFE stage 2, MBRP 4" exhaust, Diablo Sport Delta Chip and a new turbo wheel.

I had a 54 hp Diablo in my 02 F-350 7.3 no other mods. I just want some power for towing and to act a little stupid if I want. I'm getting about 17 mpg stock right now.

I only want to do this once at least for a while

Loose the idea of the diablo chip, it is junk. I ran one for a while. DP tuner or Tony Wildman is the only way to go.

If you only want to do it once than get a custom chip from Tony wildman or Dp tuner. Definately do gauges,AFE stage 2 is one of the better intakes to do. 4" exhaust is all you really need so you can do that, but you should check with the vendors on here Farmboys diesel has good prices on exhaust right now. Most on here will tell you banks is overpriced. If you want to upgrade your turbo strokin early 99 will give you good advice.

Banks is good, but way overpriced and you can get much more with a custom tune like dp, wildman, or ts.

Thanks I knew very little about diablo until the one that was in my 02. Do the DP or Wildman change the line pressue in the trans or don't I have to worry about that with the towing I will be doing? What do you guys think about Bully Dog?

bully is generic stuff, don't waste your money.

DP tuner has some awesome trans tuning. His trans tuning eliminates the need for a valve body for most applications. Give him a call and talk to Jody.
