Transmission Cooler

I have read on this forum that the stock transmission cooler on my 01 7.3 truck is a little undersized. Where can I order the upgraded cooler from? I have read that the cooler from the 6.0 truck will do just fine.

The 6.0 coolers are a great upgrade if you can find one at an affordable price. I ran one from Summit racing on my 99 rated for an RV at 35000 gvw.

i picked up two 6.0 coolers from the salvage yard i deal with alot for $60 bucks each. Both are 31 rows, i put one on my truck and the other on my dads. i seen a huge difference in temp. If you get a used one make sure you flush it out good

I have the tru cool and it keeps it plenty cool even in the summer. I would have gone 6.uhoh one but I couldn't find any for a decent price. Either will do the job so whichever is cheaper is my vote.
