CEL after running hard on 120 tune (DP)

it goes away after i kill/ restart.. i always turn to stock tune for a few blocks before i get home, and sometimes it'll go away before i get there. could it be the overboost "annihilator" isn't holding pressure, or what? i'm at a loss.

i know i'm retarded for not running gauges yet, but santa's bringin' em so cut me some slack.

any help will be appreciated. i don't want to grenade the sucker, so should i just stay away from teh 120 & 140 tunes til i get gauges or what?

Probably an ICP code I get it all the time the HPOP cant keep up so the ICP senses it and throws a code. I believe that is normal unless you have very good HPOP which is rare or aftermarket Dual HPOP sometimes called big oil.

YOu are overbosting. Your truck has a safety on it. When you boost over 24 psi the computer cuts off the fuel supply so your boost will drop to a safe level. It goes away after you drive it within the limits. You will have to buy a map fooler to fix this problem. I had this problem on mine with a 140 tune and once I did this its been fine.

ICP is low. do you know anyone with a snap on scanner or Auto Enginuity? You need to see what kind of pressure your HPOP is putting out.

Scan for codes. Let us know what codes you get. That will be the easiest way to tell you why your CEL came on. It could be over boost which means your ITP boost anihlator is not working properly. Or your ICP is reading low. Won't really be able to tell you until you give us some codes.

This is most likely the culprit.

Only if you get tired of watching the CEL light come on and off.
