Never hear of them... How old is it? Any writing on the chip? It could be an old Western Diesel or a ATS chip...

Does it look like this?

TTS Power Systems

If so that is Steve Cole's chip. Good tuner.

1994-2003 Powerstroke 7.3

Dyno Sources Inc. takes pride in producing and selling the finest performance products on the market. While many manufacturers offer products that shorten the vehicles service life, our products increase the efficiency of your vehicle, therefore extending service life, without the damaging side affects.

Our Ford chips are different for several very good reasons! First of all, we have the only chip that offers engineering from Fords original program configuration; by reprogramming all four banks of memory, the Dyno Sources chip is not affected by a dealer “reflashing” the PCM. Second, by designing the chip to fit internally, this eliminates any hassles of the chip losing contact, causing the vehicle to die or surge.

1994-2003 7.3L FORD Powerstroke: add 71 horsepower, plus 162 ft lbs torque, enhanced shift-kit programmed in the chip, better throttle response and improved fuel economy. Please locate your box code (located on your computer) before ordering this chip.(Gauges are not necessary on standard tow and race programs; up to 15,000 lbs).

1994-2003 FORD Switch chip: Change horsepower settings on the fly! Our innovative toggle switch installs in the cab, allowing driver to flip between “tow”, “race”, or “extreme” settings! Switching from performance program to “off”, or “off” to performance program will only work while the ignition is off. Please locate your box code (located on your computer) before ordering this chip.

Ford Diesel Switch Chip features:

Three position toggle switch
Greater passing power
Valet "chip off" position
7.3L or 6.0L models
Improved shifting on 7.3L Automatic Transmissions

Programs available: (toggle has two performance positions and “stock”)
1. Stock- performance chip turned off for security, dealer scanning, and valet.
2. Tow- standard performance program for towing, economy and daily use
3. Race- for hot rodders, needs a pyrometer for towing
4. Extreme- lots of black smoke from exhaust and white smoke from tires! Will run Chevy’s and Dodge’s into the ditch with this one!

(This must be the chip I have)

Computer Locations
You need to first locate your computer code, then call for pricing information, shipping options and answers to other questions you may have.
Our Ford chips have a 30 day money back guarantee plus lifetime chip warranty
(Warranty and money back guarantee void for tampering

Possibly. Hypertech told me that with any programmer/chip 60-70HP or under, no gauges are needed.

If you believe that, I have a bridge to sell you.

My old superchips tuner says the 50hp is the "safe tow mode/gauges not required". When I put on my gauges I found the EGT's to be over 1300* when towing the same route as I had been driving with a load for months. It was an eye opener.
