Who was doing the Rubicon Express?
I was in contact with someone on this board who was doing a rubicon express lift for thier truck and I wanted to find out how it came out. I really would like to get one but, I am a bit skeptical since no one really has one on a superduty.
let me know TOM |

I am the guy. I have run into a minor setback with installing the kit. I have been dealing with some drama, deer season, and a busy work schedual. I can tell you this, the Rubicon kit is a quality kit, better then the pro-comp or fabtech. I would compare it to the Donahoe kit, which is more expensive. donahoe has a better spring pack (Deaver?) with lifetime warranty but the rest of the kit is not as good as the Rubi. If you haul heavy loads then stay away from the Donahoe kit the springs are too soft. The guys I got my info from install both kits and they run the Rubicon on thier trucks. I was offerd a ride but was convinced enough over the phone without driving an hour that I dont have to see for myself. I am hoping to find some time in about 2 weeks after the holiday.
BTW I got the kit from 4wheelparts.com, 4inch $1250 free shipping. they dont advertise it on there site. You have to call and ask for it. I did buy wheels and tires at the same time so that may have figured in on the $250 off. |
