okay need some know how on the cts
im looking to buy this tuner (cts egde w/ attitude) im pretty sure i can get custom tunes with this. my question is can i get one to make it smoke? i know here on the org people dont like a lot of smoke. so im sure imma get go buy a cummins or something to that affect. the reason why i want it to smoke is my town is over run with cummins that smoke like he!! and no real modded powerstrokes. so i wanna show them that the powerstrokes can smoke too. but i wanna be able to shut it off. any tips?

Tip-go buy a cummins
![]() Every diesel nut likes smoke, but that black smoke is wasted $$.. And I don't know if you've done any reading up. But all that "awesome" black smoke is what's causing the EPA to crack down on emissions. Why not tune it right and create more HP and not just smoke? |

So why not show them that a PS can beat them with NO smoke at all?
So why not show them that smoke is a waste of power? So why not show them that smoke is a combination of too much fuel, not enough air, and way too much heat? |

If you don't want smoke guys, then don't smoke. He's asking how. If you don't know, don't comment. It's his truck. Let him worry about whether its cool or not. I prefer no smoke but if I knew how to make it, I'd tell you.

it has nothing to do about being "cool" it is dumb people like that who got diesels to where they are today with all of the emission controls and aftermarket companies scared chitless to manufacture performance products without being sued over! so yes i will comment and thank you have a great day

I'm not bashing on you bud. There's nothing wrong with smoke but there's a time and a place for it, not in town. A backroad or small highway is where it's fun. My truck will roll smoke if I want it to but you can't make a bad rep on this trucks by having a heavy foot everywhere you go
