DPS stage 3 injectors.
One of my friends has a set of Dps stage 3's in his early 99 with an auto trans. I have a early 99 6 speed manual with Swamps 100 horse injectors. He wants to trade injectors straight up, his truck is a daily driver and I only drive mine on the weakends. His chip is a 6 pos Bully Dog, and mine is a 4 pos SCT. Does anyone know if we would have to switch our chips out with the injectors or would our chips work with the other injectors? If we do have to switch the chips would they have to be reprogramed for the other truck? They are both early 99's the only differance is the transmissions, I dont know if they would need **** points on the chip or not.
Thanks for any info. |

Are you both still running AB's?

You must first ask yourself why would my "friend" want to trade a set of stage III injectors for a set of stage I's. There is alot of history with DPS to say the least... I would think twice, or fourteen times on it.

Also, your HPOP may not hold up to stage 3's

Listen to Tony. I would.
I have another question, or two. You say you are running a SCT. a tuner or a chip? are your injectors splits or single shots? |

I would bet the stage III's are hybrids.

hybrids on a 15* HPOP. Would that need the ICP demand turned down to keep from setting a 1211? or does it even matter....
