is there a device i can buy at the hardware store that will work as a boost relief like the itp setup

A regulator.

The ITP unit is a regulator not a relief valve like other brands.

You could probobly make one for half the price, but the ITP works great and for 45 bucks you can't go wrong

I used a mini regulator from lowes and put it between the map sensor and y pipe. I set it for about 18psi...cost my about $20. Works great...Rod

The nice thing about the ITP is it mounts out of the way.
