how would this sound??

ive; heard some say straight piping the factory exhaust was quiter inside than a 4" exhaust with a muffler??? if so, then how would it sound if i took off my muffler, but left the resonator or cat on?? would it be much of a dif in it, and completly straight piped??? thanks for the info

why dont you just completely straight pipe it???? its b.a. but yes i think using an exhaust system 4'' will be louder than a s.p. factory and btw TAKE THAT DAMN CAT OFF!

if i were you i would buy a 4'' system without cat and muff would be pretty cheap

lol thats exactly what i meant btw when you see systems for sale that are cat back... why in the he!! would you buy that they are usless the bigger dp over stock is the heart of the exhaust upgrade

i have the 4" turbo back 4" mbrp.. no cat with muffler, the sound isnt that much louder than stock.. a little but not to much.. I was worried i didnt want the old cherry bomb sound.. I'm a little curious how much louder the muffler delete would be also..

see, i just dont want it too be really loud, cause my dad drives it alot, and i know he wouldnt like it.... so i wondered what it would sound like with just takin the muffler off, "leavin cat or resonator" VS a 4" MBRP system???

Im getting a 4in Farm Boy Diesel turbo back. Its a smokin deal. My truck is straight piped on factory exhaust right now and it just cackles. I want a deeper tone so I went with the 4 in. Pm the guys at Farm BOy Diesel. They have killer prices

In the cab is a little bit louder going straight piped. Outside is A LOT LOUDER!!! An MBRP has the performance and is a bit louder, but it still retains the muffler to keep dad happy.

Straight pipe in the cab is really not that loud at all. outside though it sounds awesome

I just went from straight pipe stock exhaust to a FBD 4" no muff, no cat, and i dumped it in front of the rear axle. its a little louder at idle, but WOT is insane. It is louder in the cab also. When the engine loads up there is that loud and deep moan in the cab. Just my .02 about it...Rod
