I like a unique rig the same as any body but nothing bust my gut more than seeing a diesel truck that looks like he has his neighbors garbage can stuck under his right rear wheel well.

7 inch tips look amazing...if they are long enough. A short one will look like crap. I welded up mine from a 7 inch stack. That is how my truck is known around town. Everyone loves it and strangers always ask where they can get one. I even walked out of the Wal-Mart and there was a girl trying to stick her head up it...odd.

I'd save the big coin and just stop off at the true value and get a stainless steel trash can

I got a 7" dump truck turn down tip from the local semi exhaust place. I got a good deal on it and some 5" chrome pipe from a set of stacks. I need to get it welded up still. The way to make them look good is to get a long one and try to hide the seem as good as possible from 4"-7" I need to get in the shop sometime and get er done. With it hung in place with safety wire it looked badazz though, dont knock it till you see it...

I agree with WFI a 7 inch exhaust tip only looks decent if is at least 18-24" long. I've seen to many coffee cans sitting under trucks at big gatherings of trucks. You'll get some cool tip comments, but you'll get more laughs and shaken heads.
