PTO on a 2000 7.3 6 speed tranny

Has anyone ever put a " power-take-off" unit on the ford 6 speed tranny?

My employer has one on a F550 6 speed.It has the 12V actuator instead of the old cable pull.It works really well.

PTO on a 7.3 diesel

I want to set up my truck to run on "straight vegetable oil" (svo) and if I could also run my pressure washer off the truck I could run the truck all night instead of shutting down the truck at every job. Thanks again. Bixxl

I ran SVO on my truck, the truck ran quieter, it seem to run better, until all of a sudden I had no power. The truck had 2 bad injectors. I removed these injectors to find out they were coked. I attest that to SOV. I will not run it again but I will run Biodiesel.

look at the electronic clutch pumps, we use them on all our repo trucks... chelsea makes them and the others are deweze(sp?)...
