Tunes HELP! - PHP or SWAMPS or PHP or SWAMPS????

Just spoke to a guy at Swamps, he said no gauges if I'm not really towing anything. Which I'm not going to, but I don't want to burn anything up if I get down in it getting on the interstate or the occasional red light to red light drag race. Mostly a DD or weekend driver.

1. Do I really need gauges?

2. PHP or Swamps tunes (TS style chip)? Keeping in mind that I live approximately 25 miles from Swamps.

I'm looking for the best bang for my buck without damaging anything as I am on a budget.

I agree, gauges are a necessity on a tuned SD. Specifically an EGT gauge.

It's already been said twice, but it's worth saying again. With tunes, you need gauges. Even on a stock truck, gauges aren't a bad idea.

Personally, I'm probably going to go with PHP tunes.

You would be asking for trouble without guages or at least an egt guage.
I like php and beans tunes. As much as I love php, I always hear that you should get the tunes that are local if available. Swamps have great tunes and dince they are only 25 miles away, im leaning towards swamps. If I lived near any of these guys, I would definitely be there. You will be happy with any of the well known tuners.

I would go with PHP... Though my opinion may be ever so slightly biased
