Finally treated myself
2000 f250 Super Cab, 4x4, 6spd., 7.3, 111,000mi.
I bought it new in 2000. Have not done anything but regular maintenance. Till 2 weeks ago. I installed: Afe intake Mbrp 4" turbo back TS 6-position stock, high idel, 50hp, 75hp, 100hp, 140hp Its like having a new truck. It is amazing that I have ben driving around a hidden treasure. The speed, pulling power(pull horse trailer), throttle response, turbo spools very fast now, it's amazing. I can't get over it, I am truly amazed! Been wanting to do this for some years, finally broke down and spent $823.00 for a new driving experience. if you have not done this DO IT!!! It is worth it, in my opinion. |

i would say autometer or isspro they seem to be the best.

was looking at the auto-meter gauges. They seem to look pretty nice, a bit pricey for a gauge, yet it's cheaper than doing repairs.
was thinking egt, transmission. Not too sure about the boost? I see that you can get the entire set up for 300-400$. From Chico, funny I am from Oakdale, grew up there till I was 7 and joined the military. |

You have a 6speed so you don't need transmission temp. Get boost and egt for a minimum. Oil or fuel pressure is handy but not necessary.
I like autometer. Isspro's are really nice but really pricy. I've had bad luck with glowshift, but some people get them and love them. You can definately tell the difference in quality just by looking at them. Glowshift's are very cheaply made. Sent from my iPhone using AutoGuide.com App |

its a toss up between the isspro or autometer.
Did not think I would need the trans. being a 6spd. I have to make a decision now. gotta do a little research.

I have auto meters. They work just fine.

I am going to go with isspro. Like the info I have read on there site and the cost difference is not that bad. I am only getting egt and boost gauges. Thanks for the input.
