Intercooler Boots
Hey guys, I've been looking at getting some new Intercooler Boots and was wondering what you guys recommend. I've been looking into the Riff Raff ones and they seem pretty good. What size do I order? Also should I order some new clamps with these new boots or are my originals fine? Anything else I should know about doing this mod? Thanks for the info

I bought both kits from Dieselsite and was disappointed that they had to be cut down to fit. Paying that much for them led me to believe that they would fit right out of the box. So much for assuming. They are nice boots but they should come ready to install

I've used dieselsite.com boots with great success on my 6.0, 6.4, and 7.3. All of mine always fit perfectly out of the box and held up perfectly for many many miles on each truck.

Never mind I figured it out. Are riff raffs plenum inserts a good idea to get?

I was going to get the dieselsite boots, but they raised the pricing. I also heard about an issue they had but I think its fixed. They were OOS when I needed them, so i went with the riffraff boots.
RR boots still holding up great, granted its only been about 7 mos. The plenum inserts are a great idea unless you are like me and get the complete plenums. For $32, the inserts are hard to beat. |
