TURBO SCREAM

HOW CAN I MAKE MY TURBO SCREAM I AM WANTING IT TO BE LOUD SO ALL MY BUDDIES WITH CUMMINS OR OTHER JUNK CAN DROOL OVER MY SCREAMING TURBO I DONT WANT IT TO BREAK BUT I DO WANT IT TO WHISTLE REALLY LOUD

Hmm well that makes it a bit tougher! Probobly a D66 turbo as you already have the wicked wheel as a stock compressor wheel and you don't have the foil on the intercooler pipe. Straight pipe your truck if you haven't already

I JUST FOUND OUT ABOUT THE FOIL AND MINE DOES HAVE IT ON THERE BUT WILL BE REMOVED AS SOON AS I CAN GET DOWN THERE AND THE EXHAUST IS A 4" TURBO BACK BUT IT DOES HAVE THE MUFFLER SO I NEED TO FIND A PEICE OF PIPE TO REMOVE THE MUFFLER

Oh okay I was thinking the early 99's didn't have the foil. Learn somthing new everyday. What brand exhaust is it? You will definately notice a huge difference without the muffler for turbo whine!

WELL EVERYBODY ON HERE SAYS THAT THE EARLY 99 DIDNT HAVE THE FOIL BUT MY DOOR SAYS BUILD DATE OF 05/98 AND I GOT FOIL ON IT AS FOR THE EXHAUST I DONT KNOW MY OTHER HALF BOUGHT IT OFF ONE OF HER FRIENDS THAT WENT TO IRAQ AND SHE DOSENT KNOW IS THERE A MARKING ON IT OR ANYTHING THAT CAN TELL ME WHAT IT IS

Some have the foil some dont, If you went in for service work when it was in warranty, they would swap it on...

There is not much you can do to change the sound, other then remove the muffler.

Crawl underneath and see if the muffler has the manufactur markings on it. You should be able to buy a muffler delete pipe for about 50 bucks and it will slide right in where the muffler is.
