looking for fuel milage lol

hi i have a 2002 f 250 7.3 automatic with 373 gears crew cab when new got 17-18 in town now after the new fuel i get around 13-14 im thinking of a ts 6 position tuner i dont want to go big cause of auto trans thinking of stock ,50 hp,75 hp ,100 hp then high idle and no start for positions i have a kn filter, and the largest trans cooler i could get its for a 26,000 lb truck just took crank case vent out of turbo and ran down along frame other than that bone stock i only tow my boats the largest is around 6500 lbs any ideas

There are a lot of reasons for why your fuel mileage has gone down. I am assuming you have done all the maintenance on the truck? How many miles are on it?

yes i change the oil i only use rotella 15/40 every 5,000 and fuel filter every 10,000 and clean the air filter when needed 158,000 miles on truck and i have trans flushed also

personally I wouldn't get the hi idle, you can do that mod yourself, theres a writeup on here which is what I did with mine, only I would use the Ford relays and not the radio shack ones, then you can use that position for another custom tune of some nature...but thats entirely up to you.

You could have faulty sensors, leaking up pipes etc.

what exhaust do you have? if you have a cat probably getting clogged, and believe it or not the muffler isn't helping you either.

Could be bad fuel, junk in tank, bad map sensor, icp sensor, ebp sensor and tube, leaking exhaust pre turbo, closed ebpv increasing back pressure, and many other things.

Tire pressure
Weak HPOP
Worn injectors
Brakes sticking
Clogged fuel filter
Clogged air filter
A lot of miles on engine oil
Bad ICP sensor
Bad EBP sensor
Bad MAP sensor
Bad EOT sensor or thermostat
Low Compression
Gear ratio
Tire size
Boost leaks
Winter blend fuel
etc...
