the 5 inch will be more hollow and rumbly. the 4 inch will be more raspy. + the 4 inch is going to give you better lower end power.

Most "y's" for stacks take a 4", then they turn into 5" and then you can go up from there.

i see that helps!! well im one this website and it sells all the pieces to make the kit and when u buy all the pieces separate its cheaper than buying the turbo back kit itself. and u can make it 5" from the down pipe to the stacks or 6"(i know huge right) from the down pipe to the stacks.
so i will be saving like $100.00 |

There is NO horsepower point where you need to go to 5"... The discharge on the turbo is 3.25 to on the biggest 4"... The fastest PSD's in the country run a 4" down pipe... to a 4" side pipe...

stacks
4" to 5" is the way to go it sounds great with or without the baffles in the stacks Without is the best though, makes the turbo sound alot better.

if you just want loud just run a 4in. down pipe with a turn down thats about as loud as you can get

i just want a good sounding set of stacks for cheap. you might want to talk to the guys selling it to make sure u can fit it all together. just watch what you order.
the site is 5 Inch Curved End Stack - DYN25-50036CP | Huckstorf Diesel Pump and Injector Service Inc of Wisconsin i was going to get (1)5" to 4" reducer, (1)5 inch Y-Divider, (3) 5 inch 90 Degree Elbow, (1)5 inch Flexible Pipe, (1)5 inch Straight Pipe. and then just buy clamps from local shop. only negative to it is that its steel so u would have to coat it with something |
