Idm mod

I know its said to give you 30to40 hp gains but what exactly does it do ? is it worth it ?

It increases the ability of the injector solenoids to hold the poppet sealed during actuation.

Your injectors use a peak and hold method of actuation, during operation. Basically a burst of voltage to seat the poppet initially, then on/off/on/off as long as that injector is commanded to be in operation, to hold it seated.

The more consistent and thorough injection event, the better the truck will run. Both in power terms, and general quality terms.

Yes, it's worth it.

Oh, and I wouldn't expect 30-40 out of it... Maybe if you were running on a stock IDM with a big hybrid...

But with stock or small injectors, probably 10-15 at the peak max.

Under the curve is where you'll see the biggest difference.

The one swamps sells also alters the frequency.

The one from swamps is modded, both voltage and frequency. That'd be what I recommend.
