predator chip

i have a predator chip in my 01 psd and i have had it in now for about 3 or 4 months and i have been reading somethings on here and from what i understand the predator chip is going to cause problems to my tranny and engine is this true? should i consider buying another chip? if so what chip thank you for all the help

is it a preditor chip or preditor tuner? Or is it a diablo chip?

I ran for a while. It is very agressive with the fuel and it would throw P1211 codes but it made the trans shift better than stock. Your exhaust gauge is the big thing to watch with it. You do have gauges, don't you?

I have a predator also, but is it bad for the engine (i have the exhaust and boost gauges). And if so wat is the best chip to have?

it does not help the transmission to compensate for the added power. The 10K mod has been used for ever and it does not hurt anything as long as you watch the EGT's and keep them under 1250*. Chips like the DP and TW add line pressure to help the shift happen faster under load to compensate for the added power.

no gauges all i got is a 8 inch lift 37s cold air intake the chip and mbrp dual exhaust.... but i think that i am goin to get a dp tunner with a quadzilla monitor... does that sound good
