Decisions

Ok guys. If I get the 7.3 tomorrow, I will have 2500 to spend on the following items and need help deciding what to get.

Lift (probably going with zone)

Wheels (Dont like all black & in 16" or 17")

Programmer/chip (probably TW 6 position)

Exhaust (Diamond eye 4/5" muffler or no?)

Intake (?)

3 Guage pod w/guages (?)

So your thoughts and what you would get

Diy intake. Free flowing exhaust, gauges, valve body, custom tunes.
Along with fresh fluids, adding filters, etc

I made my Samsung SGH-I997 send this.

I will look up the DIY intake. Fluids and filters are a given and I'm not doing anything not on my list right now. The tw chip is custom tunes I thought. Thanks for input.

So if that is an auto trans, you'd consider lifting and tuning, but not upgrading the trans?
Yes, Tony Wildman is one of the custom tuners.

Jesilvas, doing stuff to the transmission won't make it look cooler when it's sitting on the side of the road, duh.

I didn't ask for smartass comments from dumbass jerks. If you have nothing productive to say, stay the **** out of my thread dueche bag.

Jesilvas, yes I will be doing the transmission, but it will be getting upgraded by the local diesel tranny shop. That is why I only listed the specific items above.

Yep, I'm the dumb one, yet I'm the one able to answer every question you have. My post was productive, you are talking about adding power and a lift (probably bigger tires) that will stress a trans more. You might as well throw the $200 at a valve body until you can afford a full built tranny from someone reputable like BTS, Warren, twisted or DI.

The truck will be going in for the tranny as soon as I get it since I will be waiting on stuff to come in and dont need the truck, and it is actually one of the most reputable shops around Sun Coast Diesel Transmissions*-*Home | Sun Coast Diesel Transmissions . If you were actually making fun of him (didnt seem like it to me), then I appologize for being rude as well. However, I didnt ask for a list, I asked about the specific items listed as I am having a hard time deciding. This is not my first time doing these things. This will be my 4th diesel (2 chevys and 2 fords). This was my last one New Rig . I have also built multiple rockcrawlers over the years, but now build side x sides and atvs(thought it would be a cheaper hobby).

Anyways, after researching all day, I think I may keep the wheels that are on the truck and only need to decide on my guages. I dont know what color the dash is at night, so I will wait on the truck to decide on guages.

Here is a pic of it

Hmmm, suncoast is kinda mixed reviews I think.
I like my autometer z series gauges. Match factory pretty well.

I made my Samsung SGH-I997 send this.
