Superchips Problem?

I bought this Superchips Tunner on ebay and just received it and when I plug it in it does not turn on. I have the key in but the ignition turn in the off posistion but nothing. Has anybody ever heard of this problem before?

I know a friend had a hypertech tuner and he forgot to return the programmer back to stock setting and we tried to install it on my truck and the same thing happened to me.

Yep should fire right up. if you have another 96 newer auto try it to see if turns on to verify it isnt your truck.

It should come on with out the key in the truck. Ive put mine on several trucks and worked fine, and then I was going to put it on the company truck and thats exactly what it did. I never did get it to work. But still works fine on others. Try it on another truck.

Hey guys I found an open fuse that runs the cigarette lighter and the OBD II port. I replaced the fuse and it now works! I hooked up the Superchips tunner and upgraded the program and man what a difference, it reminds me of my 04 250 6.0.

Thanks Chris for sugessting to check the fuse. It always seems the simple things trip you up.
