How Can I keep Soot off of the truck?

Probably a dumb question, but How can I keep the black soot off of my truck? I have a 4" exhaust and whenever I tow our 5th wheel we have A LOT of soot on the truck. Will a tip fix this? Thanks for helping

It could, just route it farther away from the truck...?? Might look a bit goofy though.

just angle the last peice down some. Or you could get a curved tip that faces down.

Don't drive the truck

You have to aim the exhaust down and have it exit about 8" away from the side of the truck. It looks dumb but works.

mine always gets soot on the truck and trailer when I tow. Just wash it more like I do.

That is why I wash the trailer after every trip. It is a pain but necessary.
