Overboost/check engine light question?

I have installed the strictly diesel overboost Annihilator.I also have the Dp tuner installed,Garrett GTP38r turbo, etc.My truck instantly hit 30+ psi boost and my check engine light came on.Also I blew the hot side lower intercooler boot off completely.Shut the truck off and put the boot back on the truck and when I started the truck back up the light wasn't on anymore.Would the light come on because of the boot coming off?Recently removed the aih also but light never came on until I layed into the pedal and blew hose off.Any help?

The light could come for a number of reasons: low ICP, the MAP shouldn't be seeing too much boost, but still could be, or could be for low boost.
AIH will throw a soft code, no light.
You'd have to scan it to know for sure what it was for.

the boost annihilators dont always seem to work.
you could be getting low/high icp like the OP said, or you could be getting overboost.
you wont throw a code for popping a intercooler boot. and the aih wont throw a check engine light/ses light either, it just gets logged in the computer
when i get overboost codes the SES light usually pops on.

When an overboost happens and throws the light on.Does this defuel the truck still or what actually happens? Also,my light goes back off.If it was low/high icp wouldnt the light stay on and not go off?Is their a boost fooler out there that will keep my light off?I always thought you only scan your truck when the light stays on.Ive had it scanned about 5 months ago because my truck died on the side of the road and nothing came up.Come to find out, somehow I had an airbubble get into my fuel pump and kill my truck.Goy air in the fuel line somehow.Fine now.

The PCM will "defuel" but not by limiting fuel to the injectors, it can't. It limits the IPR duty, which reduces ICP, and it probably reduces injector pulse width and other little things too. But all that in turn reduces fuel injected.
Also, the air in the line was probably a cracked fuel pickup assembly in tank.

How can I get around the truck from defueling? Is there a boost fooler out there that I can buy to keep my boost up,no defueling and no ses light.I found out later that the air bubble was from a crack in the fuel bowl that is now deleted.Sucked in a bunch of air into the line.

Fuel bowl is pressurized.

Your over boost thing should be fine. See what the code is.
It's either MAP or ICP related.

I made my Samsung SGH-I997 send this.
