So heres my build list
Truck is a 2000 F350 Dually auto
Already has: MBRP turbo back exhaust 4" K&N (junk) intake super chips cortex Been reading alot on here and decided to start my build thread, this is what im planning on getting. Input is welcomed as i wont start ordering everything until the end of the month as i am still at sea. Gauges, (already have EGT and trans temp) fuel, boost, oil press HPX and FPX from riff raff 6337 intake kit Rose wood 160/100's single shots open for suggestions bts valve body Bd power tc 6 pos tuner with beans tunes t-500 hpop? (necessary at this level? heard mixed things) Turbo upgrade in the future. Power goals. My injectors are on the outs and i might as well upgrade. Looking for a well rounded vehicle under 400hp. Im not looking to break the bank making huge power on this one but im looking to budget 5-6k right now. hear 160/100's and a gt38 is a fun reliable combination. Any advice and suggestions would be great. This is my first diesel build. are they too big for the stocker turbo? ill keep every one posted on whats ordered and pics of the work being done. 160 single shots aren't too big but they are fun. Since your getting Beans tunes, Beans sells injectors too... You shouldn't have to upgrade your hpop with those injectors. It looks like a good set up

I noticed is said in your sig you are running 160's what size nozzle are you using? Im looking at the garret because in the past i have gotten them at cost through close friends. last garret i bought was a gt35r BNIB for under 800. |

I would go with the t500, your icp will drop on the stock pump. Also look at a 38r or d66, the stocker turbo won't last, or a t4 mount and a 366 or h2e.

I was curious to see if any one would bring up an upgraded HPOP. Will this drastically imapir driving the truck, Or can i get away with upgrading it later? I know the singles require less oil then then OEM splits. As these are stage 2 will these require significantly more oil pressure/flow then the stockers?

ordering the autometer ford gauges tomorrow. EGT, Tranny temp, and HPOP pressure. Sucks that other then boost those are the only gauges the offer. I cant find an electronic full sweep oil pressure gauge gauge on their site. I dont want a mechanical one. Going to do the F650 dash mod and but these 3 in it. Ill post pics when i get home

If you're ordering an HPOP gauge, I wouldn't touch the HPOP until you see what it does in your hot tune with the new injectors.
When I swapped AD's for 160cc injectors on my old PMR engine, I held the same commanded ICP with roughly 10% less IPR, on the same HPOP. A stock SD pump in good shape should hold without issue. 160/100's and a 38R are a great street/tow combo. I'd do a BTS valve body before I looked for anything from BD though. Google Brian's Truck Shop and send them an email. |

Good to know. I already bought a HPOP off an 01 for a core. Ill hold onto it and see how mine holds up. Thanks for the info. yea from everything i read on here. seems liek the 160/100's adn the 38r are a pretty good combo. Ill do the BTS valve body. Turns out my discount with BD power is anything special so im in the market for torque converters. any suggestions?
